Chili Recipe
Nutrition Facts (per 1 cup): 255 calories, 4.9g Fats, 31.3g Carbs, 23.9g Protein
Ingredients (makes 8 servings):
- 1 lb lean ground beef (browned)
- 1 (15 oz ) can of dark red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 (15 oz ) can of chili beans
- 1 (15 oz ) can of black beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 (14.5 oz ) can of crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups of chicken broth
Ingredients for homemade chili seasoning:
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ⅛ tsp ground cayenne pepper
- ⅛ tsp garlic salt
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot
- Stir together
- Heat on medium high until chili starts to simmer
Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes (or longer)
